FAQ

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

During the treatment you should expect residual warmth following a sensation similar to an elastic band snap. With all of our free consultations we perform a test patch, so you can feel exactly what it feels like!

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

Depending on your skin, we recommend anywhere from 3-5 treatments. Semi-annual touch ups may also be required in order to treat any new pigmentation.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

There is no downtime and makeup can be applied right after if desired. However, your skin may be sensitized and you must wear sunscreen after the treatment. We also encourage you to wear sunscreen in order to help prevent the sun damage from occurring.

WHEN WILL I NOTICE RESULTS?

You will start to notice results in about a week. The areas that are pigmented will become darker and eventually flake off. This process takes roughly 1-2 weeks.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

One treatment on the full face is $150. One treatment on a small area is $80. We do have packages avaliable at a discounted rate. Please feel free to contact us for more details.

IS EVERYONE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A PHOTOFACIAL?

Not everyone is a good candidate for a photofacial. We only recommend photofacials for skin types 1-3. However, we have a multitude of different services, including peels, that are excellent for all skin types, and work on treating the same issues. If you aren’t sure whether a photofacial is right for you, we would encourage you to come in for a free consultation.

HOW DOES A PHOTOFACIAL WORK?

Our photofacial uses light energy to generate heat in the skin to help break up unwanted pigmentation and stimulate collagen production.
